David’s expertise is in construction, finance, manufacturing, telecommunications and retail. A qualified accountant, he has worked in the United Kingdom, the USA, Asia and New Zealand, where he is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors. With his background in developing businesses, David’s experience has been invaluable in contributing to Portus’ financial management, as the company expands and takes on new projects.

Jennifer joined Leighs Construction/Portus in September 2012 as project manager, after meeting Anthony Leighs on Re:Start where as a project manager for Ballantynes (Re:Start Container Mall) she developed impressive skills and competencies in logistics and communications. She brings a broad knowledge of the property and construction industry gained during 30 years of experience in New Zealand, the USA, the United Kingdom and South Africa. Jennifer is the project managers’ Health & Safety Representative. She is very involved in the community from managing regional hockey teams to fundraising.

Paul has over 35 years’ experience in the property investment/development industry, including CEO/Managing Director of DNZ Property Fund (now Stride Property) for 13 years. During his career, Paul held positions as GM of Fletcher Property and was joint managing director of the US Real Estate Subsidiaries for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. In this role, he oversaw the formation of a large real estate investment portfolio in the US and Europe. Paul is currently a Director of several private companies, including Leighs Construction Limited, and Chairman of Augusta Capital and Augusta Funds Management.
